OK It's ****ed up this time

Allright I've got everything but the dead chicken, it's hard to get those in california cuz of all the animal rights activists lol. No seriously though I don't get why the solder doesnt stick to the leads cuz if I could reconnect that I won't have to recone it.

The solder I'm using is rosin core, should I be using a different kind or is the metal of the leads just to fried you think?

I got it to work, just had to add a little piece of wire to get a good connection and so the solder would stick.

And I dunno what it is about this forum, but everyone thinks they're so high and mighty on here it's really weird. I mean I just joined on here last month or whatever and it's really helpful, but the never ending comments about "n00bs" and shit like that is so gay IMO. I've been doing the whole forum thing for years and this site has the worst attitude by far except for Pirate4x4.com. Now that place is harsh hahaha:escape:

One word, KIDS.

I dunno if that is directed towards me cuz I'm younger then you or towards others in general that act childish on this board, but whatever haha.

I got everything wired back up and it may not look great, but the leads dont touch at full excursion and it sounds perfect. I took the time to **** with all my crossover points and gains after I got the sub back in the box and I dunno if it's just the fact that I only had mids for a day or what but my whole setup sounds way better. I'm very happy with it right now. Can't wait for my new box to be done cuz it's gonna sound even better!!!

Thank you sir, glad I never took any offense in the beginning:D I'm trying to get a **** video to load right now of the sub for everybody. NOthing too extreme and it's not moving too much, but I wanna post it anyways.

Ok here it is back in the box working again. Don't wanna crank it too hard until I get a new alternator though and run some new wire. And hold all the wisecracks about the rats nest of wires, nothing is set up permanently right now at all. I know it looks like ***.

I've never heard of an amp clipping because it was receiving low voltage.

Your actually right, the true definition of clipping is driving the signal into so much distortion that the top and bottom half of the sine wave is "clipped". Clearly if he wasnt getting enough power, he'd not be able to drive anything into distortion.

So that leaves me to suspect there is more going on than stated, but I suppose who cares.

Well I dunno what the hell to call it, but it makes sense to me even if it's not the perfect definition of clipping.
