Is this amp any good how does it compare to MTX 1500 watts amp??

I wanna get the Orion But need some advise is this a good amp.

I wanna power the ID max 12" In a sealed box I have two.

I just switched to Orion amps...2 2500D's...

i'm goin to power my idmax's with a modded 1501d, i'll let ya know how they work out, i was also looking at the orion 2500d

yea same thing here I was looking at the Modded 1501d then I saw ORION IT LOOKED GOOD.

whats ur setup are you running two in a sealed or ported??

right now i'm running them sealed, till i get some box plans for a ported box, right now they are being fed only 500 a piece with my 1000d amp, hopefully it will get louder with 500 more watts

I will be running two at 1.30cf each 12" id max.

Hopefully they will sound good with correct amp.

Cause I don't have enough room for ported.

what final impeadance will the amp see? If its 1ohm then I think 1250/idmax would be a little excessive wouldnt it?

1250 should be 2 much of a strain on it, i called ID about it and asked if anything over a 1000 would be overkill for the sub, the told me i would be fine as long as i was carefull, i'm goin to try to set my gains where it's pushing 900-950 watts in to the sub, hopefully i will hear a diffrence, i've been told that i would

ah, ok.

Well, correct me if im wrong but gains do not control the amount of wattage that is applied to the sub, even with gains all the way down the amp will still produce 2500wrms @ 1ohm.
