Like it saysin my title i havent had a sealed box in a long time and am gonna put my Fi X 10" in a sealed box. The website says .25-.6ft^3. My question is basically is a prefab sealed box with 3/4" mdf just as good as any other?

Also the smallest i seem to find is .8ft^3 i know that will make my sub take less power. Im only gonna be running 160 watts to it. So im not worried about that. Also if I dont like it sealed im wont be out much and can have a ported made again.

Im really set on sealed for now though wanna see how it turns out.

Having a bigger sealed box means your sub will take more power than it would normally in a "to spec" sealed box.

but i could be completely wrong.

Bigger sealed is more efficient but less power handling. Probably not noticeable in this application

So ill just score the .8ft^3 one from a local shop for $40 and call it day then thanks for the quick responses.

Yes. Size also plays into the frequency curve. Usually, larger will flatten the curve by elongating the low-end cut off, thus raising the lower frequency response subtly.

Sealed prefab boxes are good. The prefab ported boxes **** because they are usually way too small and are tuned way too high. The only thing you have to worry about a sealed box is the airspace. If that checks out, then you're all good.
