OK,I have 1.2 cu ft to work with,can only go 5 1/2" deep...need bass...help.

Lookin for sub reccomendations.Music preference is Metallica,Korn hard rock.I want it loud.I know I"m not get be settin no spl records,but,loud is a requirement.Ported design is out of question due to shape of box.Approx 5 1/2" mounting depth.Looking for around $200 to spend.Sub size can be from 8s to a 15".

You do realize that those have not been available "new" for close to 3 years, right?
OP- Cone area is your friend. I'd go with a 12 or a pair of 10s. You'll be hard pressed to find a 15 in that mounting depth and that will like a box that small.
