Ok how come im not getting any clipping?

In a sealed box, the power handling is typically increased so your Type Rs might be taking the power, but I would not go and try some test tones at high volumes just to see if it will clip. Its not good for the amp nor the subs, and should not be a goal of yours imo.
yea i know im not trying to blow them...but im just thinking if i could get more out of them or not? weather getting a new amp or something.

alpine goes to 35--your at 21 thats 60%volume. and like squek said if you want clipping turn it up to 30+---hell the internal amp on the deck starts clipping like HELL after 30 thats why i don't use my deck for power--just signal,

well i have BX1500d running at 2ohms for 1000watts. but i think the amp is a bit overated so i think the amp is pushing 900RMS. my gain is set in the middle of 3/4.
You wouldn't happen to have got that idea from reading others opinions on here would you? Did they influence your conclusion?

Probably.

And how can the difference between 900rms & 1000rms be enough for you to pinpoint it like that? Just asking..

Anyway, I know what you mean by the gain and clipping thing. I have a BX1500D. And no matter how far I turn the gain up I can't hear distortion for some reason. But I leave it at ~1/3 of the way up with my 4v outputs.

Lastly, if you're doubting your amp, for whatever reason, have it bench tested at your local shop to know for sure. And at the 14.4v that they advetise too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
