no i dont want them to clip but how could that be possible. im giving the subs more power than they can handle. or am i not?

how much rms are you pushing to each sub i pushed 450 rms to each sub when i had my type r's and they took them easy, also how high do you have your gain on your amp
well i have BX1500d running at 2ohms for 1000watts. but i think the amp is a bit overated so i think the amp is pushing 900RMS. my gain is set in the middle of 3/4.

lol why the hell would you even try to clip your amp? you are a douchebag for wanting to piss your type-R's off....
dude did i say i want to ****ing clip it...i said why isnt it because im giving more power than my subs can handle...well at least of my knowledge u ****tard

Clipped signal or unclipped signal.....if you are sending your subs more than they can handle, bad things should be happening.

Where is your volume level at during this "testing"?

yea i know...21...how do i know how much power to send them?

In a sealed box, the power handling is typically increased so your Type Rs might be taking the power, but I would not go and try some test tones at high volumes just to see if it will clip. Its not good for the amp nor the subs, and should not be a goal of yours imo.
