First off let me just say thanks to everyone for the sweet info on everything. These forums have brought me a long way. My situation is this. I'm installing a NINe.1 and a NINe.4 and I was thinking on getting this kit http://www.edesignaudio.com/wire_product.php?productid=251. Now from what I understand is, from the NINe.1, I go 4ga to the distro block and from the NINe.4 I go 8ga to the distro block, then from the distro block, 0ga to the fuse, then to the battery (which I'm getting a Yellowtop and doing Big3) and ground. The distro blocks are safe to mount in the trunk right? This is going in a 2004 accord 4cyl if that makes any diff in anything. Is there a less expensive way to this or is that kit pretty dead on? How about RCA's as well. I'm not sure which to use so any recommendation would help.

Basically you have it right but you want to fuse at the distro block for each wire coming off of it as well. Personally, I'd skip the 8 ga. Go 1 ga. from the battery (fused...250amp) to a fused distro block, then run 4 ga. from the block to each amp. Use 125 amp fuses on the dist. block for each 4 ga. wire and keep the 4 ga. runs as short as possible. Yes, distro blocks are fine in the trunk.

You can probably piece together an install kit cheaper than the price in that link. Check out knukonceptz.

Ahh ya forgot about knukonceptz. I just never understood distro blocks before either but now that I do it's like WOW haha. So simple but I've never done more than 1 amp before so I've never had the need. I like knu's battery terminal too. I've been looking for one that will accept (2) 0ga and theirs does because of the extra spot u can screw one down to. I went ahead and priced everything with 0ga power and 4ga to the amps with 120amp fuses on the distros per wire and 250 amp fuse by the battery. Came out like $10 cheaper for better stuff. So do u guys think I'll be ok with these amps if I do the Big3 but instead of adding to just replacing it all with 0ga?
