ok here is a midrange question

hey i got a problem well sorta....

i have heard quite a few of my friends systems and i was not that impressed.........sure i got loud but the sound was scratchy...it sounded like they might have been overloading their 4 inch or 6 inch speakers.....if they got a crossover or bass blockers or something would it sound cleaner????? would i provide smooth midrange while eliminating the distortion....please post cause i wont buy the 4 inch or six inch if they all sound like sh**...thanks....

u see i dont want bass from the front speakers just midrange plain and simple..i got plenty of bass from the back

if there crossed over right they should sound good. but there is always a point to where you stop turning your volume up. and that cut off is just before you hear that noise.
