Ok I've decided to sell the Audison again. I'm just going to use my old Alpine MRV-F345 to power my comps for now, sell the Audison, then pick up a couple of the Alpine PDX amps. Probably a 4.100 or 4.150 for the comps, and either a 2.150 for a single 10IDQv2 or a 1.600 for a v3. Is there anyone in the Stockton/Lodi/Modesto or east bay area that can help me out and walk me through it step by step? I have what is in my sig. Alpine 9835 and the amp is going to be a MRV-F345 75x4. Obviously I will probably need to re-tune once I get the sub, but I'm gettin' the itch to play with what I got now until then. Anyone care to help me out? Should be a nice little SQ system when I'm finished.

Get the v3 -- it has to be louder than the v2.

I agree, but it depends on the amp I get. I posted a WTB thread. Hopefully someone wants to get rid of their PDX amps for cheap. If not I will just spend the extra few bucks for the 1.600 and the v3. If I get a deal on a 2.150 and a v2, I won't complain. I've been driving around since last July without a sub, so anything is going to be good for me. The more you drive without bass, the less you need when you have it again. I want the system to be really balanced but I'm sure I'll be okay either way with the v2 or v3. All depends on $....

Gotcha, thanks for the heads up. I'm pretty sure I'd rather have the v3 anyway. Also depends on space. The v3 requires more for a sealed application, and I don't have much to work with since I want the box to fit behind my rear shock tower brace. Hence the reason for the PDX stackable amps. So hopefully I can make it all work. Thanks again for your input. Any tips on going active? Where to start? Obviously I need to switch out my amps first and ditch the passive Xovers. But I'm not sure on tuning. Since I have an Alpine HU and Alpine amp, can I do the tuning from the HU and not have to touch the amp?
