Ok.. 4 18" Nightshades, and 2 SAZ 4500s in a Durango.. Advice?

Two or three positives to the front batt back to the back batt bank and two or three runs of negative to the front batt, back to the batt bank, will be more then fine. I would take the headliner down at the B pillar forward and do a layer of 3/4 birch, and then maybe throw some fabric over that, should help with the flexing big time. I would go with Second Skin Spectrum Sludge for the doors and the floor. You will not need alot due to only having to deaden from the B pillar to the A pillar.....

Good to see the customer got his mind right and decided to wall it, should be nasty.....

Very true.. I was thinking deadening the whole thing but being sealed off at the B pillar would make sense only needing the front done..

With puttin the sheet of birch up, what would you suggest to attach it to the roof? And I have never messed with the SS Sludge deadener, any tips? Or how much would be needed? And anyone make bussbars for the battery banks? I havent done anything like that, and not the best metal worker haha

Yep deff no need to deaden the whole thing, would just be a waste of money. Here is a vid about Spectrum Sludge.

Toolmaker makes awesome metal products, anything you need. You can hit him up here: (TOOL) - Car Audio Classifieds

As far as attaching the birch to the roof you can use liquid nails. The reason I say birch for the roof is it is not going to flex like MDF would.

Awesome man, I appreciate the help! Today is the day the guy is supposed to come with the money to start ordering stuff.. I guess we will find out if he is for real or if hes just bullshittin about doing the build.. Ill keep you all posted and start posting pics in a build log if and I start! Thanks again and keep posting some ideas or any tips you may have for these durangos, etc.

Any ideas on some good components at decent pricing? Not cheap obviously, but right now the guy seems set on T1 Fosgates for some reason?

Is he being kinda shady about it or something? Hopefully, if he follows through, you will make a build log.

He was a normal guy, older actually Mid 30s, so I was thinkin alright ya know.. Well as of last week he was here n said Thursday Ill pull the money out and we will start ordering stuff and get going.. Well I tried contacting him thursday, so replies, and hasnt contacted me since. Im sure some of you guys who do installs and have customers have had issues with people constantly coming sayin they wanna do this and that and lets do it, then cant come up with the money.. **** pisses me off bad.. I hope maybe itll still pull through, but I had hopes high, contacted multip[le companies, had sponsors set up and was able to become a dealer for multiple companies JUST with this build alone..

I dont know if people get themselves off by talking big money and never pulling through or what.. So for until further notice, no build log coming anytime soon..

Sorry to waste anyones time, I hope I can do this still.. Anyone else have any pet peeves and problems with people like this before? Please feel free to comment!

PS: Sorry had to vent a little bit
