Ok 1st choice of a new setup here

Ok i got almost $3000 to drop on a system. thats right--3 grand. anyways this will be going in the trunk of my new cutlass that i bought from an old man down the road. ok, first--it will have a hot *** 300 amp alt. custom wound. then i will run 2/0 welding cable to the trunk to a distribution block where it wil branch off with 1/0 ga in a short run to 2 orion 2500's, a short run of 4 ga. to a viper 400.2 and then a 8 ga. run to my viper 200.4. the 2500's will juice 2 XXX 15"s, the 400.2 will juice my focal polyglass comps in a set of kicks and then the 200.4 will run my tweets and dash co-ax's. Last but not least, this will be trick installed by one of my good buddies Rene (all at cost) so he can promote his own custom install shop. Head-unit will most likely be a Alpine 7871.

Just one question...why kick-mounted comps & dash coaxials? I would take out the speakers on the dash...

i could fit 4 15"s back there if i had the money.

theres only room for one set of comps.

and yes there will be lots of deadening-------everywhere.
