Oil down over $13 in 3 days.

the people at the gas station messed up and changed the pumps to 3.82 somehow. there was a ton of people. before they could get it changed they had about 40 cars go through
what are you paying?

4.40 or around there
I meant for the 3.82, a few stations were at $4.09 this morning.

Anyone who says that drilling in ANWR or the Gulf will reduce prices consider this, it will take at least 7 years and up to 10 for the first drop to be pumped, and even then where are we going to refine it, our refineries are running at like 99% capacity as it stands now.

What can it hurt? Oil prices are based on futures. If you think that the anticipation of the future price of a commodity has no effect on it's current price, you do not understand commodities. How long will wind or solar take to make a dent, 10 or 20 years, then why do it?

It may make a dent, but by best estimates it will reduce gas prices $0.07 a gallon, a barely noticeable difference. And yes, it would take awhile for solar or wind energy, but that is why I would rather see the money needed to drill for new oil spent on alternative technologies instead.

He has little to do with the price of oil atm, good or bad.
That's what you think. His family is part of the oil industry. They probably get the monthly insiders oil magazine and everything.

There's no doubt that President Bush is responsible for lowering the costs. I mean, he 's the one that gave us tax rebates, remember?

Lol, but those rebates went to the people, not the oil companies to drop the price.

I know, I'm just drawing the comparison to point out that he's the one helping America.

It makes some sense, the price of gas usually lags a day or 2 behind the price of oil.
Oh yea genius? Some my how it is mathematically possible for gas to be more expensive now than it was $13 dollars ago. If that was the case where I am, the gas stations should have been paying ME $9 dollars a gallon just to fill up.

Sorry I was baiting you, solar and wind are a pipe dream. Nuclear would lower our demand, but pansy democrats won't let us build plants anywhere.
