I was under the assumption that the price per barrel only went up.

The oil price drop is just a fluctuation from the drop in demand with people driving so much less nowadays. It will hit $5 before it gets below $4 again (Basing off Chicago suburb prices).

It will go down big time if China and India stub their economic toe. Other than that, drill, drive a golf cart or get used to it. You can't bring up the standard of living in huge third world countries and not increase the price of resources, get over it.

the people at the gas station messed up and changed the pumps to 3.82 somehow. there was a ton of people. before they could get it changed they had about 40 cars go through

lol 4.45 was the cheapest i saw yesterday. Think of it this way. Before bush was in office gas was under a dollar, and its gone up ever since. I remember when ppl were shitting purple twinkies over 2.50 a gallon gas. LOL. Im not saying bush is the reason fro the high prices, but he's getting blamed for it. Plus stupid dems wont let us drill where we have oil, and theres here in the us. What we need to do is import less oil, and boycot oil companies who do not use amarican oil. Also, if we could all seriously not buy gas one day out of the week then the price of oil will drop so drasticly, that everyone will sell out, and we'd have cheaper gas again. *dreaming*

They don't even have to open it. A friend of mine works for an oil industry company and says if they just announce that they will start drilling, the price will drop.
