no, all in all they are the same exact sub, but depending on the amp you are using, one will be more benificial then the other. if you have an amp that puts out 2000 watts at 1 ohm, and you want that full 2000 watts to your sub, then you would either need one dual 2 ohm speakers, or 2 dual 4 ohm speakers, or two 2 ohm speakers, or four 4 ohm speakers, it just flexability and options on many varibles. but theres no need for them to be different prices

 
A single 2 ohm sub won't let me get full power out of my amps. I need a 4 ohm impedance to get the max out of my amps.

This is why they offer different impedance choices. The difference in impedances makes buying the right sub (or amp) for your application easy. It allows you more options to get the most out of your system.
