i think i may have found a problem to my stereo please let me know if i did in fact make this mistake

i purchased 2 12in P3 RFF subs with 2 ohms DVC i wired them to a this amp below which says that you can wire two subs if they are 4 ohms... giving out a 2ohms load?

was i suppose to have got two 4ohms subs?

and these are my subs

i wired them like such

ok well first thing i think there is a misprint or something. It says 1008watts rms x 1 at 2ohms and then it says 758watts rms x 1 at 1ohm. There is no way at 1ohm you get less power. Or atleast i have never seen a amp do that. Anyways if you have your subs wired like the way that pic shows then you are pushing 1000 watts to your two speakers. So what do you think is wrong.

are u sure the amp states that it needs 2 4ohms subs to put out a 2ohms load.... my subs aren't going anywhere to what 2 12's should do and when gains are turned up the amp goes into PROC mode any further past that and the subs will full excursion and make pop noises... it doesnt seem like everything is workly correclty

Either get a better amp or subs. Everything you have wired is how its supposed to be. Doesn't matter what the amp says. It can't tell the difference between 1 dual 4 sub wired to 2 ohms and 2 dual 2 subs wired to 2 ohms

So it is a typo? From the information i gave you of how i wired the 2 2ohms DVC to My amp.. It seems all correct?

I cant figure out whats up with setup, guess ill keep trouble shooting

Check out the Alpine MRX-M100 does 1000@2ohms and 500@1ohm >:/
