Yep
Friend just ordered his new subs. He didnt call me before he ordered his new Q's, and he figured since his amp (i dunno what it is) 2ohm stable, he needed 2 2ohm woofers to match. He just called me and i said ooohhhhhh nnnnnnooooooo

but he can call Fi cuz he JUST placed his order, so hopefully he'll be able to get them switched to the right vc config.

BUT i couldnt remember what he would need to run at

A) 2ohm stable? 2 dual 1's correct?

B) or if he does have to stay with the d2's, he needs a 1ohm amp, correct?

any help would be awesome.

2 dual 2 ohm subs will go to 2 ohms total.

Like this:

Sub1: vc1 parallel(pos to pos, neg to neg) to vc 2

Sub 2: vc1 parallel to vc2

Gives you 1 ohm on each sub, then wire the subs in series to achieve a total 2 ohm load.

Good luck

If he ordered 2 dual 2ohm subs he can wire them to 2 ohms.

here's a diagram:

with the woofers wired together, 2 d2 woofers can have an outcome of a 2ohm load?

i know nohting when it comes to wiring //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
