ohm question on bridging

# Two Channel Amplification# 500 Watts x 2 Output# 1000 Watts x 1 Bridged Output# Fully Adjustable Electronic Crossover Network# Variable Bass Boost (0~12dB @ 60Hz)# Soft Turn On/Off Circuit# 2 Ohm Stereo Stable# Bridgeable into 4 Ohms# MOSFET PWM Power Supply# Heavy Duty Aluminum Alloy Heatsink# Discreet Wire Connections# Variable Gain Control# Remote Turn On/Off# Hi/Lo Level Inputs# Gold Plated High Impedance Input# High Level MOLEX Input# Power On LED Indicator# LED Protection Indicator# S/N Ratio: >95dB • THD:

DOES THIS MEAN I NEED TO BRIDGE MY SPEAKERS I HAVE 2 10" 4ohm 200wrms punch XLC. Just learning about the audio world so forgive my stupidity in needing a yes or no answer THANKS!!!!!!!

No worries with being a novice. We all started there ourselves...

What brand and model # amp are we talking about?

If you have two 4ohm subs, you will not be able to bridge the amp to 4 ohms. You can run the subs in series and bridge it to 8 ohms, but I would suggest just running one sub off each channel..

American Legacy model#LA960 1000W with bridgeable mossfet amp-electronic crossover network 2 channel 2 ohm stereo stable also is this amp mono capable withLPF/HPF/FULL switch?

According to the manual (available on Legacy's website in .pdf format here) that amp will do 150 watts per channel RMS @ 4 Ohms. I doubt you'll actually get that much usable wattage out of it as Legacy has an annoying tendency to overrate their gear to some degree but I think your best bet with 200w RMS-rated subs your best bet is going to be running one sub off of each channel @ 4 Ohms as already suggested by jujumantb

Does that mean just hook it up normal 1 speaker to a set of terminals?
