Item(s) for Sale: Ohio Generator 300A alternator

Item(s) Description/Condition:

It was originally on my 1999 Cadillac, that car was wrecked. I had a new super heavy duty rectifier installed as well as the smallest possible pulley and a one-wire conversion done to it as well. I used it as a second alternator on my Durango. over 5KW rmsm head lights and A/C on, full tilt, NO dimming at all.

The work was done by "Buesings Iowa Generator Co." they also tested it but I can't remember the exact numbers. I want to say something like 120A~ at 700 engine rpm and it just over 300A (like 318 I think) max which was at like 1800~ engine RPM IIRC.... I know it maxed under 2K engine RPM because I changed pulleys until it did since that is the engine RPM limit at comps

Only a few hours of use since it was gone through.

Price: $320 shipped That is less than 1/2 what I have in it! That rectifier alone was close to $200.

Shipping and Miscellaneous Item Information: free shipping if you pay my asking price, anything less than $320 and buyer pays shipping. I say "universal" because it is a single wire unit with no voltage regulator harness needed. It is up to YOU to make sure it will fit your application. DO NOT ASK ME IF IT WILL FIT YOU CAR! it is a GM large case alternator and will fit a TON of different vehicles as it sits, virtually anything if you want to fab up a simple bracket.

Its not the shipping cost it is the amount. To much to loose if it becomes a no show. I don't do ebay any longer for the same reason.
LOL... I've been on here like 6 years and have hundreds of feedback. I accept paypal so you are covered there, Insure all shipments so you are covered there too. If you don't have the money, that's cool, but don't make it out like dealing with me will be ANY type of risk what so ever because I think everyone knows that isn't the case.

Yep, he's a good guy. Bought a dual alt bracket from him. Wish I had the money to pick this up from him, as I know it would fit my car lol. Good luck with the sale man.

Thanks guys! I have well over 100 transactions but some of them are as far back as 6 years so it is hard to get feedback from everyone. Also had 50+ on both ROE and CACO over the years but those sites both **** now days so...

you can check the same screen name on ebay, I have almost 200 transactions over 8 years, all 100% feedback there as well. I was M.P. in the US Army, and am about half way to getting my associates in criminal justice, I am also a reserve police officer with the CRPD. Just saying, I have WAY too much to lose by ripping someone off on here! LOL

I don't think I would risk $30K~ in college expenses to scam someone out of a couple hundred bucks.

i know you said not to ask but you think this would fit an 82 Oldsmobile Tornado?
Yes, it will... You will just have to get a V-belt pulley for it. Or, just take the one off your stock alternator and swap it over. you can get "overdrive" V-belt pulleys for like $10-$20 as well. I would do that personally, more power at idle and more max power that way as well.

NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE:

Here's the thing about me saying not to ask. in my experience, 95% of the people who ask questions aren't in a position to buy it anyways. So, I spend time researching stuff for 20+ clowns that have zero intentions on buying it anyways. NOT SAYING THIS IS YOU... I wasn't always bitter about questions. However, out of probably 75~ sales I have made, maybe a handful of those people had to ask questions before purchasing. It's like that old saying goes "If you have to ask, you can't afford it" or "If you have to ask, you don't need it" type of thing...

Then there is always the "well, if you have it in 6 weeks when I get this money" or "when I sell this... I will buy it" or "cool, I found another one online for $20 cheaper but I didn't know if it would work so, Thanks"

In your case though, I know that car uses a GM large case alt so I know it will fit.

as for the guy with the Honda, yes, it will fit. Once you make make it....

Good deal man. I'm buying an 82 Tornado in a couple of days. If this is still here, it's mine.
