Oh The NOISE NOISE NOISE!!!!

Well i just hooked up the alpine and sounds GREAT everything sounds good treble is a little bright but that is the tuning process anyway when my volume is at 1 or 0 i hear a sound like a taser gun but it is not to loud just you can hear it while driving and all after turning the car off and in aux mode "no engine" you can not hear it what can I do?

One other thing when I connected my Sony xplod amp to see if it was there as well nope it was quiet no sounds at all except music.

At volume 1 or 0 you can hear the sound but as soon as you go higher it is drowned out by music.

Turning the key to aux mode like to hear the radio with out the engine running you can not hear the noise.

The new ground thing didn't help much if not at all I can still hear it very clearly.

your rca wires may be running too close to power wires.

get that crappy black ribbing pipe to put the rca wires in side.

try and isolate them from touching all other wires / chassis metal.

mine did this.

the noise you hear is kinda like a small hiss... or a tv fuzz noise right ?

almost like crappy am radio station static....

Okay i did a resistance test and was getting 4 ohms minus the wire with my first ground spot So I found a better one the risitance is only 2 ohms but I am still getting noise what is next I am going to try running rca patch cables over the seat directly to the amp and see if that helps. If it does than I have to re run my rca's somewere esle they on the opisite side of the power cable right now.
