KNOXVILLE -- An NCAA representative is in Knoxville investigating whether the amateur status of Tennessee freshman running back Bryce Brown has been violated.
I don't understand. I mean, I understand paying a kid to play for a university is very wrong, but what's there to investigate about a 16yr old sophomore in high school raising money so he can attend skill camps? It's pretty common actually.
The way they are talking, if the investigation holds true Brown will be ineligible to play college ball.....forever..... Way to ruin a kids future.....Even if they find this to be wrong, which I think is just being blown out of proportion, he was 16 years old.
Why isn't the NCAA invesigating the other kids involved with this fund raising?
