**Official NCAA 09 Football Thread**

More importantly, to me anyway: Is it gonna FL or AL?
I have no idea. It's a defensive game, and that usually can go either way. I'd probably say that Tebow is the difference maker, therefore Florida. I just don't see McElroy having a very good game, and Ingram won't be able to win it on his own.

Gators give up 9.83 pts per game. Bama 10.83 pts per game.

Gators by 1 then I guess.

Both teams held 6 of their opponents to 7 pts or less.

Most pts against Gators: 20. Most against Bama: 24.

Good grief it should be close.

So apparently, Charlie Weis sucks. Fired from Notre Dame. Hmm, I wonder who will take that job?

I bet Weis ends up at Indianapolis learning from Manning //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.......

Apparently so....you guys get to send Bowden off. I wonder if Joe PA will retire now?

In other news Florida Gators starting defensive end Carlos Dunlap was arrested and charged with driving under the influence early Tuesday morning in Gainesville. I'm willing to bet he starts this Saturday unless he suspends himself.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

or KC back with Pioli and KC doesn't have an OC
Possibly, I almost guarantee he ends in the OC spot somewhere.
I'm more curious as to who ND goes after. The obvious choice would be Brian Kelly, but I think they will go after someone else like Brian Billick, or possibly Jon Gruden given he would coach in the NCAA.

From what I'm hearing the Outback passed on Tennessee and is going to take Auburn from the west. I find this a bit strange, usually the Outback picks teams from the east but for some odd reason they are going to pass on all the east teams and take Auburn who finished 5th in the west. I just want to point out since the Auburn game UT went 5-2 and Auburn went 2-5. Looks like UT is going to get the stupid Chik-fil-A bowl. Unless somehow they get a Cotton bowl bid which I very seriously doubt.

Ok I was bit upset that the Outback passed on UT, but now that I hear the opponent is going to be Virginia Tech I couldn't be happier. Now they get to play a possible top 10 team instead of a piss poor Big 10 team like Wisconsin or Northwestern. I still hope Auburn gets waxed by whomever they play.
