**Official NBA thread**

well everyone knows the old basketball is a big mans sport and when it comes down to big or small you always go with the big guy no matter your needs, but in this case it really depends on what the Bulls plans are with Deng and Gordon, Deng needs a facilitator big time and Rose would be a great fit with Deng, not to mention he's used to having offensively challenged bigs like Thomas and Noah to setup and create the easy baskets for. I think it's less overall work by drafting Rose, if they go Beasley I think they have to make quite a few more changes...

like I said, either guy would be a good pickup but Rose all the way for me...

Beasley is 6'9 about 245lbs he's going to play the 4 in the NBA just like he did in college...most the draft sites are listing him at 6'10 now, but between you and me, he's still 6'9...he's pretty young still, so he might grow a bit...either way he's a big dude...

Woops yeah your right, I was fed false information. He's still not going to dominate like he did in college.. but the great thing is, you really can't go wrong with either pick if you are the Bulls.

yes very, not using it as an excuse the Lakers deserve alot of credit for hangin in there but Manu looked tired, Tony looked liked he lost a step, and Duncan couldnt hit anything in the 2nd half. But Kobe played great and i'm sure the Spurs will redem themselves.

I absolutely will not judge a series until I've seen at least one game on each team's home court. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I think the Lakers were a bit fortunate tonight, but neither team was sharp enough to really prove they are worthy of being called a favourite.

what are you talking about? timmy looked good throughout the game. much better than the NO series. they won at home...what is new?

no its just boring to watch them play IMO... not speaking for everyone, but just boring to me....
I understand. Not everyone likes watching the same style of play. I'm the same way with hockey. I can't stand the way New Jersey, Philadelphia and others in the Eastern conference play. They play a trap style of hockey and it is VERY boring to watch. The only team in the Eastern conference that plays anything close to "fun to watch" hockey is the Pittsburgh Penguins and low and behold they're in the Stanley Cup Finals.
