not disrespecting the Cavs...you can see why I would have reservations, you yourself even pointed them out earlier. The Wiz are dangerous and if they are healthy they are one of the hardest teams to beat in the EC, they are the only team to beat Boston 3 times this year....they are Serious...
I said EXPECT the Wiz to LOOK at a quick end, like saying they are probably going to come out hardcore against the Cavs and run at them with full force...nothing shallow about my comments...just an honest opinion from a basketball fan...based on Cleveland's play thus far this season, im not the only one who felt this way.
Phoenix IS NOT making it to the finals in the NBA, not this year, not next year. Hell they probably wont make the 2nd round, the Spurs have their # and as usual will make work of them. Suns do not possess the ability to compose wins over a team like the Spurs when it counts, they also have the worst big team coach in the game. If they had a real deal coach they would go further, Mike D is horrible in the pressure and horrible against good teams when it's on the line...I think last year was their year and they blew it.
The Cavs surprised me yesterday and I haven no problem with being surprised. in fact I was happy to see the Cavs (LBJ) find a little game in them...I personally dont like the Wiz, so I dont care if the Cavs sweep them. however, i still feel that the Wiz are going to flex some on the Cavs...we will see...
Well the way I took it was that you thought the Wiz was going to "run a train" on them. So that is why I said that they get no respect, which in most cases, they don't. Like I said, I am fine with that as it sweetens the pot for me when they do win.
Like I have mentioned numerous times, I don't think they will do much in the playoffs, but feel they can get past the Wiz. We currently won the last 7 playoff games against them. They do keep the games close for the most part, but we always seem to come out on top against them. And believe me, I think Washington has talent upon talent and if it wasn't for their injury to GA, then we would probably not be ranked 4th, but 5, lol! So still would have played them, but is always nice to have home court advantage. I still say we beat them, but feel it will be harder than previous years.
I think Phoenix can win it all this year. They have a lot of talent and have proved they can do well in the regular season. Now they have to prove they can win in the playoffs. They did well last night against one of the best teams in the league, if not the best, which I hate saying that. Took them too 2OT's, and took a Tim Duncan 3 to beat them, lol! They can compete and they will, I don't care how you think Mike D coaches. They have the players, they put down a good game plan and this will be a long series and hopefully they take it, bit nobody said they wouldn't have a hard time. I mean it is the Spurs for christ sake.
If Phoenix don't make it out of the West, then I really hope NO goes. That team is a lot of fun to watch. If LB don't get MVP, which he probably won't due to all the Kobe lovers, then I would love for Chris Paul to get it. Quickly becoming one of my favorite players in the league and was fun watching him pwn Dallas.
