Phoenix isn't going to win with shooters and slashers and no interior presence. It just doesn't happen in the NBA.
Perhaps they should've went after Ben Wallace. he can defensive rebound, block shots and is athletic enough to run the floor like everybody expects a center to do these days. Always with all these shots Phoenix shoots, he would be great grabbing offensive boards.

are you stupid? delonte west and kurt thomas. must have missed the fact that nash gets crap for rest, which is a major reason they do poorly come playoffs and Kurt Thomas is a very strong inside defender, great rebounder, and can spread the floor offensively with a great 14-17ft jumper

born and raised here in san antonio, been a fan since before David Robinson was here. all the poor players that didnt make it like vinny del negro, terry cummings, and (drum roll please)..........................who remember when Cherokee Parks played here?

we had dennis rodman right before he went off the deepend, i remember when they hired tark the shark as coach, we had john lucas as coach for awhile, we also had larry brown. so what about being bandwagon now?

why do you think they went for shaq? to replace what they lost. would have been cheaper and smarter to get a big man that knew the system and costs much less as well as decent point to replace minutes for nash in the playoffs and the weeks leading up to the season.

One they wanted Marion gone because he wanted out of Phoenix. Second Kurt Thomas is not the same interior presence as Shaq. Third they didn't win with Kurt Thomas so why would they want him again?

I'll have to look for my ticket stub from the Pistons game I went to in 1998. Atlanta Hawks at Detroit. The Hawks were actually a good team then. Pistons won 89-82. Pistons ended up losing to Atlanta that year in the playoffs.
