**Official NBA thread**

Yeah, but when he was on the team, you used to praise him. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
He did good things, but I said he wasn't worth what Chicago paid for him. what can't you comprehend? He's not the same player he was back in 2003, hell you could see his decline in Detroit.

I just think it is funny how you praise people, but when they leave your Detriot teams you talk like they never did anything. You do the same in baseball as well.

Personally me, I never thought he was that good anyway. Very overhyped and overrated!

LMAO look at his numbers 8 RPG, 1.7 BPG, not the 10+ and 2+ he was doing in Detroit, and he never was good offensively, but 4.5 PPG on 37% shooting.

Ben Wallace is 3-1 vs. Shaq in the playoffs. That alone should indicate what kind of defender he was.

I really don't care what he has or hasn't done. I still think you would dog him if he was doing well just because he isn't on your team. I remember you being but hurt over it when they let him go.

Well this thread is dying with fegstick teabag being banned.

What does everyone think of all the trades this deadline?

I can't believe Cleveland went out and traded Gooden, Brown, Simmons, Newble, Huges,Marshall and I think I am missing someone else.

Got some decent players, but Gooden will be missed and Huges was just coming into his potential. Oh well, I just don't think Ben Wallace will mold in well with Cleveland, but I think Delonte West and Wally "World" Sczerbiak will fit in nicely along with Joe Smith. Still in the air as how if it will benefit them or not.

Still think the Shaq trade sucks for the Suns, but good for the Heat.

The Mavs was a little overboard to get Kidd and they better win now, cause they just screwed their future.

Need some more NBA fans! I know you are out there.

i think cleavlands trade was great. gooden is overshawdowed by verajao when he is healthy anway. hughes is way to inconsistant, and i think he should have definately been traded. west gives them a good PG option considering gibson is better at SG. wally will give them a great outside shot. wallace needs a new enviorment and a coach that cares for his game to come back. i see there starting line to be something like west, wally, james, wallace, illgauskus. joe smith, and verajao will be backing up the big guys, and gibson will share time with wally and in and out of the starting line.

the shaq trade was good for both teams. ecspecially the heat, but it gives phoenix a great inside presence. i think this is what phoenix needed to boost them further this year. i think it sucks for phoenix in the long run cuz shaq will only be around another 2 years. but then that gives them the salaray cap room to sign another great player to replace his position.

for kidd, i think they gave up a ton and i dont think they will win a ton more. for the nets they have alot to prove, but have good young talent to improve upon

and i think that the hornets getting bonzi wells was a good move because he will most likely step right in place of mo-pete (who has sucked since he got traded). wells will give them a nice outside shot and he will get to the line alot. wells is a good player he just needs the minutes.

I wouldnt go that far considering free-agency these days. Yes they gave up some good players and I dont think it was the best possible trade but it was neccesary for them to remain competitive.

Im not sure how I feel about the Cleveland trade yet so cant comment on that.

Time will tell if they were good moves or not.

I enjoyed the cavs trade a lot. I see a better defensive team with a threat to really run when Z isn't in the game. I'm glad to be rid of D marsh, larry will go cold again or get injured, 1 or the other. Drew would disappear some nights, so if anything the cavs put themselves to either improve or change problems.

I'm excited to see wallace play on a team with a chance of winning a championship

Seattle has a ton if picks, that was pretty good move by them.

I was not a fan of lebron's comments on the trade
