So 30% no matter what huh? So if my alt cost $419 30% off would equal $294 correct?

Should I get a 300amp alternor for $419 or a 280amp alt for $399?

you'll want idle amps most likely... shit call dom and ask his advise... but with that many watts... you'll need to start thinking multiple alts...

most car with that wattage that I know of are used for burps with the car off... (off of batteries only)

Thats true in my comps I see the cars with the engine off so its all up to the batteries at that point. Im just looking for a good alternator that can power that amount of power for daily driving. At the local shows im allowed to rev my engine up to 2,000rpm
