I am confident they will botch the experiment, but am not interested in betting on that point. I want to bet that provided they don't foul it up, the plane will fly. I want to take suckers money too. I'd consider their failure to properly do the experiment a wash with no payouts.

Of course it will fly. A harrier can take off if you bolt the wheels to the f'in ground.

But you are no fun. I found myself unique in wording my bet so I am the likliest winner. I still think justin will profit from this venture.

If there is insufficient demand...perhaps I can make the market by offering odds.

Exactly. they can't get the thought of things being propelled by thrust derived from pushing off the ground. thrust can also come from pushing the atmosphere people.

To me, it must be achieved without any stability harness, and must then end by safely landing on its own without intervention of any kind on an actual landing strip.
