how they looking right now? also why the hate on favre i mean he's better than any qb chicago has EVER had
At this moment, we're looking alright. We're a couple offensive lineman and a FS away from fielding a hell of a team. The upcoming season is going to be tough, though, for every NFC North team. Have you looked at the schedule? Cowboys, Giants, Eagles, Redskins, Pats, Dolphins and Jets.

Anyways, the Bears' biggest problem lies with the coaching staff & management...and a huge portion of that will be taken care of after the 2010 season.

Why hate Fav-ruh? Because he's played for the Packers & Vikings, and he's a douchebag/drama queen of the highest order. Keep in mind how old he is too, bro. You'll get one more chance for that mummy fart to fail at winning your team a Superbowl, and then it's back to T-Jack and Rosenfels. One more thing to think about; Adrian Peterson's extreme case of the fumbles will be harder to keep under control now that you guys have no solid backup RB. Oh, and just think about that overtime win my Bears had against Minny in week 16. Glorious, son. Just fuckin' glorious.

Oh, and just think about that overtime win my Bears had against Minny in week 16. Glorious, son. Just ****in' glorious

let's see the vikings won 12 games last year not including the playoffs. the bears won 7. the only thing glorious for the bears will be when lovie is fired.

Midway Jay to D.A. Game over, Vikes.

I can't wait to see Lovie, Martz, Marinelli, Angelo and Phillips looking for work elsewhere. Bill Cowher will be welcomed with open arms. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

forgetting the 36-10 *** raping in week twelve where brett threw for almost 400 yards and 3 td's?
No, I remember it vividly, but the week 16 win was so much cooler. Why? Because noone saw it coming. It was supposed to be a gimme win for Mummy Fart Inc.

I just love watching Brett lose. I enjoyed the hell out of him giving the NFC Championship Game away too. It was just Brett, doin' what Brett does best.

Week 16 - Jay threw 4 TD's.

good for jay. hopefully for you guys he'll turn out to be a descent qb. however with no good wide receivers to mention, a terrible offensive line, and no run game to speak of you can't expect much out of any qb.

Jay's already a decent QB. He was expected to step into a terrible situation last season and lead it to a Superbowl. That was all a stupid dream, and Cutler finally exposing Ron Turner as the weakness he truly is makes me happy beyond belief.

As far as our WR's are concerned, we lack a true #1. Other than that, we have a decent group of players at the position. Earl Bennett seems to be a solid possesion type receiver, Johnny Knox and D.A. have shown big play ability, Iglesias is yet to be seen and Hester may be better utilized in the slot within Martz' system. I fully expect our WR's to explode or fail on a week to week basis, but that's the way it is when you're working with a group of young guys who have little experience.

The offensive line is an area of great concern. Our OL did play terrible throughout 2009, but it looked a lot better at the end of the season once Pace was "injured" and Williams was allowed to play in his natural position (I seem to remember him shutting Jared Allen down). We also signed a big bodied TE that's highly regarded for his blocking abilities, so that should help a little bit too. So yeah, we need some help on the line. We'll get some as soon as it presents itself.

Then there's the matter of our running game. Matt Forte is never going to be a RB that busts out 80 yd runs on a regular basis, but he'll catch a lot of passes and amass impressive total yardage. The addition of Chester Taylor is pretty significat as well, but your Vikings fandom probably won't allow you to admit that. The running game also fails and succeeds with the offensive line, but I've already addressed the Bears situation as far as that's concerned.

The fact of the matter is simple. The Bears don't get off the bus running anymore, whether Lovie will amit it or not. We're transitioning into a pass first offense with a gunslinging QB. Turnovers are going to happen, but 4 TD games are going to happen as well. We have players to build our offense around. Our starting WR's, RB and TE are very young and have a ton of upside. There's a lot of upside to our defense too. Players like Briggs, Urlacher and Peppers don't come along every day and Tommie Harris was once a dominant pass rusher in his own right.

It's just going to take some time for us to gel and our players need experience. Once the Lovie/Martz/Marinelli experiment comes to an end and a real coaching staff is brought in, the Bears will start winning football games on a regular basis once again.

Super long post. Cool story, bro. All that shit. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Meh, never understood why people hate so much. I give props where props are due. Tim was a monster in college, give him a chance in the nfl before passing judgment. But in sports haters gonna hate I supposed. Just look at how people trash Brett Farve even though he had an excellent season. Who cares how old he is or how he's indecisive, the dude brings it all on the field and that's all that matters really. Hell, some people still won't give Lebron James his props.

TeeeeeeeeeeBOW!
I'm still pissed about the pick... Every move McDaniels makes just makes me want to punch him in the fukin mouth. The only good move he has made is bringing in Nolan last year as the DC and he fuked that up too.

Guy is a complete asshat.

It's completely justified. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

and it's Brent Farve...

Dude please get a clue... Don't say Tebow and Lebron freaking James in the same paragraph. Tim Tebow has bust written all over him. So what that he was a "monster" in college. This guy was an even bigger monster in college with more wins and more championships and have you heard from him since?
