The eagles entire offense was basically centered around Mcnabb. He may not have gotten them a superbowl but he brought them darn close. They needed him IMO. I highly doubt they're going to be able to rely heavily on Kolb like they did on Mcnabb. I don't think people realize how much pressure he had on him in Philly. I think leaving philly was a pretty good idea but not to go the Redskins.

Im ready for something new man. I see your point but I think it is time to rebuild. as they say, out with the old, and in with the new. idk about kolb either though. I dont really know what direction is the best for them to go QB wise, however mcnabb was not it.

Eagles wanted to do right by McNabb enough so that they agreed to trade him in the division rather than to the Oakland Raiders.

I applaud the Eagles front office. Oakland is a shithole anobody should have to ever suffer there!

Did he have a choice on going to the redskins? I think the team just trades him regardless of how he feels. I'm a cowboys fan so it's six in one hand and half dozen in the other to me.

I say they should let Kolb and Vick battle for the starting position. I mean by trading McNabb away it's pretty much like starting with a clean slate so they have different options for how they want to run their offense now. I think it would be worth it to give Vick a shot because of the potential he's always had. If he could step up and the Eagles are willing to commit to him they could have an interesting offense.

I just wanted to bump this thread to say Ben Roethlisberger is a ******.

Hopefully he'll get caught up again in the future and face extended jail time and a lifelong ban from the NFL. Dude's a scumbag...
