***Official 2009-10 NFL THREAD***

When you have Thomas Jones and Shonn Greene you're supposed to establish the running game. That's why the Jets are in the playoffs.
I would think you would come out doing the opposiite of what your opponent thinks you are going to do. I would have came out throwing it If I were the jets. Easy passes. O well

They have a rookie QB, dude. Leaning on their badass RBs is the right thing to do. And once again, it's why they're in the playoffs...

Well its not working.. They have not got a single first down... They should have came with a much better passing scheme.. The running game was there, they needed to work on passing. Once again, I say bad play calling. simply put. The stats clearly state the obvious. Btw, they are in the playoffs because the colts rested starters..

Why do you want to argue about this, man? Mark Sanchez has been anything but stellar in his rookie season and the Jets have relied heavily on their running game all year. That's how they play football. I'm not saying that they can beat the Chargers by running the ball up the gut on nearly every play, but the alternative is much worse. You simply can't put the weight of the world in the hands of a rookie QB.

And you can talk all the shit you want about the Jets being in the playoffs because of the Colts. That doesn't change the fact that they slaughtered the Bengals two weeks in a row.

Im not arguing, im stating facts... Yes they need to rely on the running game, but a good passing scheme has to be set in place aswell. Easy error free passing, Nothing complex. This isnt an argument as its more of what the jets need to do to beat the chargers.
