well.....at least my team is the ONLY team that simply cannot do worse than last year. Go Stafford....and we still have 3 more picks in the next 50 players drafted

You mean besides losing $41 million in cap money that could be paid forth to helping the team.......I kinda figured they would take Stafford but I had no idea they would guarantee him more than what Manning or Brady will make.....

they already cleaned out the coaching staff. I expect Stafford to play 2nd chair, at least at first, behind Dante. Hopefully he will develop a bit this year and be ready next year.

true, and i agree that they should have built up the line and plugged a few defensive holes, but they can't change it now so no sense in me crying about it.

I agree 100%. Stafford will be a good QB, lets just hope he can stay healthy behind the Detroit O-line. IMO I would have done just what you said Smith being the first pick then go after defense the next. I mean heck next years draft will have alot of QBs to choose from. Tebow, Bradford, Daniels, McCoy and a few more I can't think of.

I agree 100%. Stafford will be a good QB, lets just hope he can stay healthy behind the Detroit O-line.

Hopefully Kevin Smith will handle the ball alot this year. I coulda used a big fullback for him to run behind also. I can't believe they copped a TE instead of a O-Lineman

****in denver has been making some moves this off-season. I was worried for a bit but Cutler leaving still makes me think that the Chargers will take the division again.

Not true!

They fired Matt Millen, yet retained and promoted Martin Mayhew who was Millen's influence on A LOT of his picks. He was Millen's brain trust.

If they were going to clean house - which they should've! They should not have took shit from the bottom of the pile and threw it on top for everyone to see!
