wether you like the guy or not.... The fact that he respects everyone who plays, the fans and is more respectful and appreciative than probably anyone in the league has nothing to do with taking it personal, its just fact.. Hes never a poor sport or a sore loser, and always gives the other team respect wether they deserved it or not , win or lose.. THAT is class, anyway you look at it.. He doesnt brag he doesnt showboat, and plays his *** off every game.. Now after the "class" explanation , Name someone who does it better..

Okay, my rebuttal:

1. He kept the Packers on the edge of their seats regarding their future on more than one occasion.

2. Aaron Rodgers could've been playing, and earning top money, for a couple of years if not for Favre's inability to make decisions regarding his future.

3. He forced the NY Jets to use their highest draft pick on a QB because he pulled the same old tired shit in NY that he pulled in GB.

4. He shit all over his past and fanbase by playing for the enemy (something he intended from the beginning).

5. He offers zero long term solution for the Minnesota Vikings and was only brought in to sell tickets.

6. He has ruined the career of at least one young QB while playing for the Vikings (Jackson).

I could go on, but what's the point? It doesn't matter what I say. Fav-ruh's supporters only see his " love for the game" and "determination". What I see is a glory hound that simply can't come to terms with his age and shortcomings. A drama queen that loves being the center of attention. Dude, rivalries come into play as far as I'm concerned. As a Bears fan, I will not and cannot "like" someone that's known as the greatest Green Bay Packer of all time. That's just how it is.

And another thing about Favre. It irritates me that people don't bring up the bad aspects of his career. Sure, he's thrown for more TDs than any other QB, but what about INTs? Do you think the one he threw tonight is the first time something like that has happened to Favre? Why is he above the law as far as INTs are concerned? After all, he has thrown more of them than any QB in the history of professional football...

And the idiots on ESPN have just said that the Vikes' management SHOULD say the following to Favre:

"Just go home and spend the offseason with your family. Don't worry about football. We can holler at you in the 3rd week of preseason if we need you. There's no reason to make a decision about playing for us right now".

That's the type of shit that disgusts me.
