Comparing Williams to his season last year in Milwaukee, I still don't understand how he made the All-Star game this year but wasn't even considered last year.

Blah, blah, blah pistons ****!
Wish Cleveland would have made a trade.........oh well.

Bron with 55 yesterday and Willams 24. I knew a little time off would pay off. Look like we got some of our energy back.
I can't wait til Bron breaks something. I'm sick of that 1 man team.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

j/k;)

because those numbers arent really all that great, truth is the PG position in the east is a little weak...Nelson and Williams would have had no shot in previous years with their numbers...the other side of the coin is that numbers arent everything, and those Bucks vs. these Cavs are pretty night and day...

Well of course the Cavs would beat the Bucks. I'm just saying that people think Williams has taken his game to another level or something...not true. He was a good PG for the Bucks last year, and this year he's benefitting from playing on a better team. There are better players than him who did not make the roster.

I honestly would rather have seen VC go than Williams (definitely more of an All-Star), but then the Cavs would have whined even more than they already were.

well considering that AI has been sub par this year and Harris isn't ready for the all-star limelight, they needed another PG, looking back at how bad the PG's played this year in the ASG, they might as well of picked VC...oh well...

Willams was deserving. He is putting up just as good of numbers as he has in the past with one of the best players in the league, which is outstanding. If he was in Milwaukee this year, with all the injuries they have had, Willams would be 20/4/8 with a steal a game, which is good stuff for a point guard, not to mention he is a good defensive presence. If you could watch him all the time, he is a special player and he is a very good club house guy....very positive.

Also Willams played well in the all-star game. Had like 14pts a few assists and a couple Rbds in the 2nd to lowest minuets played IIRC.

I agree VC should have made it.........over Harris.

Come on peeps, where are all the NBA fans at?

Lets heat it back up.

Cavs over the Lakers in 7 for this years final. Oh it will happen. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I am building confidence. Although I believe LA is better than us right now........even without Bynum, so I am just hoping we take them in 7, but probably LA's year this year.

Marbury looked good last night for the Celtics. This will prove to be GREAT pick up. Should be ready to go again when the Cs get Garnett back. Can't wait. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Oh is that right?? I believe the men in green will have a little something to say about that.

I hope Marbury can make it work in Boston. He did look good last night...just needs to get into the flow of the game a bit, but that is expected when he hasn't played in over a year.

He and Moore are both great additions for the Celtics. There have been rumours that the Celtics will release Marbury after the 1st, thus making him ineligible to play with any other team during the playoffs. Hopefully they give him a chance and he can make the most of it.

Why would they do that though? Why not let him get into the flow of things and prove he can still play.

Because they're worried about his effect on the team. The suggested reasons for that vary....some think it comes from KG (based on their history in MN), some have related it to Rondo, House, and Pruitt losing playing time, and others feel that Doc Rivers doesn't want Marbury at all.

By signing him and letting him go after March 1st, they would keep him off the playoff roster of the Cavs, the Lakers, the Magic, and any other team that the Celtics would have to worry about in the playoffs.

Gotcha !!

For what it's worth, D Wade said the other night that he thinks Boston is better than the Cavs.
Well one thing is for sure, Bron and the cavs are better than Wade and Miami. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Fawk Marbury! Why would anyone want to see him do well with the actions he has done not only this year, but through his career?

Why would they do that though? Why not let him get into the flow of things and prove he can still play.
Because they know he eventually will be a thorn in their side. Not even sure why they would sign him.

K, that is why they signed him. I hope Boston keeps him. I don't want him in Cleveland come playoff time.

Guy is cancer!

And Cavs still look amazing. We came back from 12 tonight and then went on an 18-2 run and came out on top! Two tuff games in Atlanta and Miami. Few good wins for them.

Hope West didn't reinjury his wrist. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
