Peerless XLS Kar 10"subwoofer

Ordered it yesterday, and it's coming. I currently have a 10" Cerwin Vega HED series Junker in my car that I decided to get rid of. I wanted to keep my current box, and not port it so I choose the XLS (ok, with help from an acquaintance). Designed to give deep tight bass in sealed applications; capable of SPL levels, but mainly a sound quality sub. Hopefully I will like it; I might write a review on it.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you order these from? I only ask because partsexpress has the 10" sub on sale for $127.50 each. Not too shabby for Peerless build quality. Check'em out here...

I don't know how sensitive your ears are, or what your taste is, but I think it sounds pretty good. I wouldn't say it plays high sound presser levels, but the sound quality is great for the "sub" $150 dollars. The only thing I’m missing is low end frequencies up front, I hate hearing all the bass coming from my trunk; degrades the imaging I think, that's pretty much why I don't run it up to it's best capabilities because I have no lows up front.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I'm still not sure if i'll get this one or the IDQ 10.

I used 1 cubic foot sealed, and after displacement it's almost right on the dot (I think). I've never heard that it's the same as the CDT Eurosport, very interesting!
