its a gun... that later turned into the m-16...

You should prolly check your facts....

I'm pretty sure In 1964 the M14 was replaced with the M16...

Actually started as the XM16, later changing to the M16A1, then to M16A2...

I don't think it was till the Late 80s that the civilian versions called the AR-15 went into production...

The only major difference between them is the fire control group, or the ability of the M16 to fire Full Auto or 3 Round Bursts...

The AR can only fire Semi-Automatic, unless modified....

Why would you want a stereo more powerful than the factory one??? So you can assult others hearing with your loud music??? Why would someone want to build a Racecar??? Or a Motorcycle that can do 150+????

I an getting an AR, because,

1. I want one and I can....

2. One of the Best Weapons made... Taken halfway good care, will last forever.

3. Very Very Accurate.

4. Not That Expensive to Shoot.

5. If anything ever jumps off in the hood I want to be well armed.

6. Looks Cool as hell.

7. Repeat Number 1....

How do I know so much about Weapons.... Well, there is more to the internet than just **** and Car Audio, that and I have been shooting since I was about 9...

I currently own the following;

2 AK-47 (7.69x32)

2 Ruger 10/22s (.22LR)

1 Mossburg 500 12 Guage

1 Glock 21 (.45ACP)

1 Browing Automatic (semi) 12 Guage

1 Remington .30-06

1 Old *** .410 Pump

1 Old *** .410 Bolt Action Single Shot

Couple of old *** .22s....

why in gods name did someone bring back a 5 month old dead thread. Eitehr way, I see in your gun list that you said ak-47 and listed the caliber as 7.62x32 where all the ones I have seen are 7.62x39. Anyway, thats all I have to say. Also, the rifle is sold.

yup the russian and chinese AK47 versions including the SKS are 7.62x39
