Odd recone(?) question..

alright.. here is the deal- i bought a 10" rf t2 10" woofer from someone on the forum. was sold as "works, but makes noise". upon closer inspection, i find out teh WHOLE spider spacer/spider combo came detatched from the basket. so i was able to peel the rubber surround off with no damage. i took teh whole thig apart (buddy of mine thought we should paint the basket for shits and giggles) as it was mostly apart anyhow) at any rate.. so now i have all the working fotparts in fantastic working order.. only one problem for how to reassemble it- how should i shim the coil? it uses a one piece alum cone, so there is no dustcap to take off... any ideal? and pics for those that care-

the motor on this woofer is actually as big as a tc3hp (same size/number of slugs) with a MUCH tighter gap. actually LOOKS to be a good unit.. anyhow, on with the pics-

I remember seeing somewere I think it was the idmaxs that shim from the outside and have pulltabs to pull them out under the spiders im pretty sure it was the idmax but you might be able to get away wit doing that I dunno how the sub is set up tho if thiers space to do it...
