Odd/Custom box build?

Alright everybody, I'm gonna hit you with something kinda new I bet. In my car right now, I have a 10" jl w1v2 (not great i know, but when its $100 for sub, box, amp, and kit can't really beat it) and i am also running 2 6x9's in boxes that are just sitting on top of my sub box and tool box (not the best looking). Anyway, I was wondering if any of you have incorporated a box design that will work with the single 10, 6x9's, and possibly have a stow away for the tool box i use. Btw, I drive a 2001 mazda tribute, so I would like to save as much cargo space in the back as possible. I want to downfire it, but not sure if i should port it at the top or not... Basic sketch is in the pics...
