Obsidian Audio 15's/Other suggestions

Hello amigos I'm just looking to get some opinions on 2 obsidian audio d4 15's or any other D4 15's. I got a new truck so I was looking for some subs in the 160-210ish price range. I've heard mostly good stuff about the obsidians from multiple forums but I just want some last opinions on the obsidians or any other sub(s) suggestions anyone might have mostly within the listed price range.. If I was to get them they would be ran off a Crescendo 2200d with proper electrical of course, and I have a good amount of space to work with(03 Blazer) with a custom ported box made to whatever sub I chose. So I guess my real question is with the provided info and around that price range is they're other 15s that are better than the obsidians? It's gonna be a street beater and I'm looking to get lowww and loud.Thanks guys

Those are excellent for the price. Cant see it getting too much better for that cheap. But ssa is having a black Friday sale and sundown S.A. series are like ~170 right now.

oa .s are nice but for the same money u can get xfl.s or hell even hdc3 on black friday

I had some sa 12s and loved them but I had to sell em but as far as I know i heard the obsidians and the sa's wouldn't really sound any different to the ear but the sa's would meter 1db higher. I don't know how true that claim is though. And aren't SSA's D2? Because if so I don't know how comfortable I would feel running them at .5

id run 2 hdc3 @.5 on that amp without hesitation .

But would a single hdc3 get louder and lower than 2 15s with the same power?

yea i have the crescendo bc3500 and will run it at .5 all day .....you can get 2 hdc3 for abt 200 each hell of a deal

hdc3 or xfl is alot more sub for the money obsidians will be very similar to sa15.s

Just looked at some hdc3's and they look **** haha and are you talking about 200 on Black Friday? Because if so,unfortunately, I have to wait until mid next month to get them.

they are only 239 regular price ..well worth buying for a few more bucks ...i think the hdc3 trumps anything else near that price range ...they beg for power ..id run 2 on my amp ....i run 2 dd3512.s now very similar to the aq.s
