what kind of box do these subs like? i'm looking for 2 12's. refer to my sale thread... which box would be best?

I would have a new custom enclosure designed and built. Both of those enclosures will not net a very positive result.

The obsidian subs like 1.5-2 cubes each tuning 30-36hz I have a dual 2 obsidian in a 1.9 cube box at like 32-33hz it sounds real good off a Memphis st1000.

which Obsidian would give me a fuller sound? 2 12's or 1 15?

2 12s would technically have more cone surface and might net slightly more SPL overall, while a single 15" would have a lower resonant frequency. Some people prefer the versatility of a 12. I have always preferred 15s.

The sound reproduced has more to do with the enclosure and install rather then the size of the driver.

Personally, I would consider the 12s over the 15. However, that is just a personal opinion.(all though I have 4 of those 15s in a wall).
