You can do the same thing with a S-AFC. Its not a real programmer.

You know there is a FREE WAY to check for codes on our trucks,its just not as easy as having a scanner.

And search up on THIS site for your problem,prolly been covered there before.

OTC and snap on otherwise just go to autozone and have them do it. without the trouble shooting cartridges the cheap ones ****. Prob egr vavle pull it off and clean the tube remount it. If you buy a new one for only on that after market ****. check your tps voltage also just read your other post and that could be it if the rest of the truck has been kept up.

You fail. A Superchips flash programmer does not read your OBD 1 codes.

for obd 1 there are ways to check them via blikning lights.....just gotta read the manual from chiltons and count the bliks of the engine light.... free like that

ive used the REALLY cheap code readers and they work fine

I think it was like $40 at ......I wanna say Northern Tool

worked fine, spit out code and cleared it out
