My insurance was $148 per month.......as of Jan 1st.......it will be $347 per month for the same plan and coverage!! what the fuck?

Also compare your average "poor" person in the USA with 52" flat screen, 500 channels of cable, iPhone 5, 300$ sneakers, brand new Adidas track suit, expensive fake nails and hairdo, etc. etc. with a "poor" person in China, India, or Brazil.... or just about any other country. America has some pretty fat "poor" people and they seem to have no shortage of bling.

They cover their food expenses, their housing, and they get income credits back at the end of the year for providing nothing to society except passing on their bad habits.

lol, you've never been broke huh? you still have to have a job to pay section 8 regulated rent, food stamps does not buy gas, toliet paper, pay heat, electric, water, ETC... and other necessities, and you don't get income credits at the end of the year they pay like 15 towards your heat and consumers energy... you live in a fantasy world if you believe you get paid to be a bum... bro this has got to be some of the most ignorant babble i've ever heard....

Ironic that people forget that we live in a representative republic. I'm hearing "I didn't vote for Obama" over and over again. So...did you vote at all? Not to mention if every griping American took their due diligence to let their representatives know how they felt in a formal letter, you'd **** sure see a different mindset in the House and Congress. We as Americans are lazy and the majority of us are more well off than we'd like to admit, yet we take for granted the liberties and rights that were given to us by our ancestors. You don't like something, get involved politically and enforce the change.

I think it would be a riot to see mass movements to impeach your state's house members. Pull everybody out of office and start fresh? Get ready for a flock of wolves in sheep's clothing and a repeat of the same old shit.

for those that don't know if you make less than 10.00 an hour, full 40hr work weeks you are considered poor by poverty standards in US... those are the people that you are referring to when you say bum and poor, all the people struggling with minimum wage job holders... who would crumble without the states help, and without them there goes your fastfood, most restaurants, local shops, party stores, gas stations, grocery stores, all the luxuries for those that can afford them... always look at both sides of the coin!!!

As can be said with nearly every elected president to date. People point the finger at the president but he's just the puppet in the game taking orders himself. Not to say he isn't at fault for anything but to say it's entirely his fault and saying he has power is giving him more credit than he has and deserves.

There is nothing inherently wrong with any system of government really. Communism can work in some countries. Socialism can work. Fascism can work......but so can capitalism. All of these systems can work when PROPERLY regulated. Seems that the inherent problem is corruption, which is basically a long string of tiny corrupt regulations, eventually turning into an entire corrupt system. Does creating more socialist leaning policies fix the corruption? No. It simply centralizes the corruption. we have an element of socialism and fascism with a capitalist base, which is fine, except when democrats and Republicans write into law corrupted regulations right under the noses of a dangerously uneducated electorate public.
