Well I guess I have a different perspective... I think Barak took it like a bish last night. Probably not a popular message here since most of you are pro bro but oh well just my take.
A simple question was asked 5 times by Jim Lehrer about how this 'financial crisis' would impact their administration's priorities and abilities to execute. What sacrifice would they have to make.
To show you how out of touch Obama is, he spent 5 minutes talking about Government programs he needed to increase funding on. He mentioned nationalized healthcare, increased education funding, and alternative energy investment; never once mentioned the word 'sacrifice'.
McCain spent about 5 min getting out his sickle, talking about DOD reductions, government spending freezes, etc...
I really thought neither of them had a full grasp on financial/economic segment as they could only speak to a high level on what their advisors prepped them for.
Also I am really impressed by McCain's directness and just believe that he means what he says and will do what he says. His background kind of reminds me of my grandfather who fought in WWII against the Japs. He isn't the most eloquent but you understand he knows his shit. McCain knows what the fuk he's talking about and has actually met most of the people they reference and has been to these locations (e.g. Georgia/Ossetia).
Obama is a junior senator with a law degree who happens to be black. He can speak well and his story is inspiring. Past that there is nothing tangible that he offers or has to say.... Hope/Change/Hope/Change blah blah blah
McCain > Obama
