o all knowing car audio ppl...need quick help

aight....so i had 2 12' cvr's in my car wit a sealed box....but basically my dad bi*ched about them so now i gotta take them out and sell dem (no i didnt blare it with my windows down). I still need 2 get comp's for the front so i will do that, but is their anything i can do to still get some bass other than 2 subs with a box? i got a huge trunk.but he didnt like the subs in the trunk..its a 99 ford taurus....

iceman,

get the pioneer rev's and some sound deadening and maybe build a tiny box around them. They'll give you plenty of bass.

Also, amp them.

I run them in my rear unamped and they can go down to about 40hz or so (I run them with a 40hz lp, and i've run them full..they can't handle the REALLY LOW very well. Amping them, strengthening that rear deck with sound deadener will give you bass

Not as much as 2 12's by FAR, no 6x9 will give you that, but they have a good punch to them.

umm yea those are the subs i was talking about iceman and i i have some pioneer premiers that sound good but not close to haveing a sub
