A lot of us are high end top dollar type, non mainstream guys using bigger names than mainstream.

Will it produce sound/bass? Sure. Is it the best? No. Will it do it's job and produce a little thump? Sure will. Is it gonna blow out the windows? Hell no. Is it the best/good? Nope.

Spec wise, they read better than Fosgate, MTX, Kicker, even some alpine and others in the price range. Can that much be said for them, or is it hi-end or nothing on here?

A Dodge SRT8 or Hellcat Charger isn't a Lamborghini, Bugatti Veyron or a Koenigsegg Agera R, but its bloody fun to drive and plenty fast for most.

If they blow apart at or under their rated specs or sound like mud, or don't last then that is one thing, but if they are junk just because they are not the best, that's not very helpful to many of us.

But you came on here, and asked us our opinion, and some chimed in with the plain truth. We like to use our systems for as long as possible, or want the equipment that we use to keep a high resale value, so we tend to use better than mediocre products. It has been stated that they would probably make some noise for you, and if you actually realize what has been shared with you, and not expect to much, they might be alright. That being said, we all had to start somewhere, but when you ask, and then are answered, it gets bothersome then to many of US

You get what you pay for. Nuff said.

You wanna spend 400 bucks on 4 12's in hopes they last awhile AND handle the power, then your the one at risk. 2k for a 100 dollar sub, I have my eyebrows raised on that claim. I'm not one to throw money around anymore. I got other priorities in life and I know what brands to trust.

You want our opinions and we can't give you any specifics, as to how they sound because no one runs Rockville subs....prob for good reason. Bottom line, budget subs. Kinda like just to get ya a little bass for now until you can save up for a better brand/bigger sub.

Links are worthless...lets talk about this sub so YOU, the buyer can buy it and I, the salesman, can sell you one, or two. Oh, it's padded nicely....buncha crap. My subs weigh 50 lbs a piece and I need both hands to hold them up to my shoulders. Real test comes from the enclosure their in, not someone talking about them on a youtube vid. How can that guy review a sub that isn't even in his car ? lol

I don't know what that has to do with my question. NVX isn't making ridiculous claims. Their JAD900.5 amp has been tested and exceeds manufactures claims. Their amp install kits are TruSpec quality silver tinned OFC cables. The specs (physics) on the speakers do not undermine the power claims and suggest they may be a decent low/mid level driver. I had seen a video and posted link above of a guy who tested them and said they handle the power well. But he is just one guy. I was just wondering if anyone has had experience good or bad with the line.

I get it, many here don't like or have experience with some of the low/mid level equipment. I am good with that and appreciate the experience and advice on here.

I’ve been curious about the XQW’s also. I’m running two 12” NVX VSW’s (V1’s) sealed powered on a Hifonics 1500w amp in my Tahoe and I’m actually really impressed with them. I’ve had them since 2014 and they’ve took a beating. Had them playing for 7 hours straight and didn’t have any issues at all. It’s hard to compare them, but at the price point. You really can’t beat them. Their actually really accurate and have some nice sound quality to them. I know if I ran a better amp, they would sound even cleaner. I listen to mostly reggae and they actually sound really well, they sound even better with Hip Hop(obviously). That being said, my next enclosure will be ported. These subs sound like they’ll love a ported box, but due to size requirements, I’ve been thinking about going to 2 XQW 12’s because of they don’t require as much airspace and are more ideal. It’s either those or Dayton Audio HO 12’s, just worried I that they would suffer on the low end. But yeah, NVX is a company that is under estimated. Their NSW’s actually aren’t that bad. I’d compare them to a JL W0 in sound, sql. I put one in my girlfriends 2017 Accord and I was really impressed for the money I spent.

apparently sb acoustics makes the x series mids, but the basket on the x series subwoofer is identical to the sb acoustics subwoofer. the t/s specs are a little different but the x series nvx may be designed for more of a car audio environment. i've never heard one but i would bet they are really nice drivers.

and no, its not "junk", but what do i know, i dont know everything like some people do... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
