Now what?

Go back to school. I know it sounds impossible, but there are ways. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif My old lady was tired of her job and i told her to head back to school and we had to find a way to make it happen. We live on absolutely nothing and sacrificed everything to make it happen. Well turns out, if you live in 16 of the counties in this part of the state (northeastern), they will pay for you to go to school for two years at a community college, and give you an extra $1,000 a semester just to do it. So we moved and she is on the Dean's list. You can do it, and the power an education gives you over your employer cannot be underestimated. Instead of being replaceable, you are a necessity that cannot be replaced and they will pay you to stay.

****... how do you get the card?
You gotta live in a state with medicinal cannabis. Also its still illegal under federal statue so technically speaking, you can get raided anytime. And given Obama's Bush-like stance on drugs in general its very likely to happen.

Look into pizza delivery as a short term option to keep cash rolling in. Its a pretty lucrative job, its what I do. I deliver in a college town and averaged $12-16/hr after base wage, tips and gas $. People seem to look down upon the position because it is entry level but most people don't realize how well it pays. Depending on the condition of the roads where you are, you could face a lot of wear and tear on your car. I estimate I have to put $1k a year into the car, but I have a 13yr old car with 144k miles. Think of it this way, its like serving at a restuarant, with far less bullshit and you get paid to drive around and listen to music while doing minimal work.

Consider this:

8 hour work day @ min wage $7.70

very conservative estimate of 16 delievries or 2 per hour @ $1.25 gas $ per delivery

$2 tip per delivery = $3.25 per delivery after gas + tips

3.25/delivery x 16 deliveries = $52

8hours @ 7.70 = $61.60

Total = 113.60 / 8 hours = 14.20/hour to sit in your car and take food to people

With gas at 3.50 per gallon and $1.25 in gas per delivery as long as you get 18 miles per gallon or better (iirc) and the trip is under about 6 miles round trip then you are breaking even or coming out on top the better mileage your car gets or shorter the trip.

Some places are electing to pay drivers like servers in that they are paid less than min wage and make them report tips, while some places pay min wage and dont require you to report tips for taxes. Either way as long as the place is steady busy, you will make over $10 per hour on the low end.

I'm not saying make a career of it, but its easy $ until you find something better.

just get a job there jobs out there... dont expect for them to look for you! u havev to go out there and look... now if u really want to go to the millitary go for it whats stopping you from going?? you could also look into the pd

sort of depends on what you got fired for, if you got a dui or something say goodby to any driving jobs.

Other wise, call up coke, pepsi, places like that usually they will help you get your cdl and pay full insurance benefits.

Ive done the night school thing, and gotten certifications, as well as State Licensed, ect, and seems like alot of BS.But, I do have the option of opening my own business with the education, and certs/ect.So, yes extra schooling helps, and will better your horizons, yet, choose a field of NEED, and you will prosper.LOL,Im working on the end of busting my A S S on a daily basis since i was 14.Almost there.Try looking toward a Union Trade also,as they pay for your education for the field also.
