it's funny how you "christians" always manage to conveniently skip over parts of the bible you don't like, and that's not even a small part..
It never says in the bible once to not buy things you want. It says to help others out of kindness. Who is to say that people with money wouldn't give money to charities?

Bill Gates has given BILLIONS of dollars every year to different foundations for people in need. Now he won't be able to give as much because all that money will be going to our government, who knows how to spend Bill's money better than he does...

I have nothing against people who donate a big chunk of their vast wealth to charities, such as Bill Gates, however, he represents the minority, not the majority of wealthy people.

"It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than a rich man to enter the kingdom of God"

It's repeated (similar statements reaffirming the same basic teaching) many many times in the bible, both old testament and new, and in the Quran.

Yet modern "christians" don't pay attention to it at all, what do you hear christians complaining about...oh...gay people, abortion, because those were Jesus's main points...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Not to mention...keep in mind, what Jesus considered "rich" is pretty much lower-middle class in today's America, in terms of the luxuries people had back then compared to now.

Government funded i'm assuming?
Even if it is, now millions of our tax dollars will be used for "odor control of pigs in Iowa"...things like that...its great Bill's money is going to such good use //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
I'm not sure, I'm pretty sure he and his wife are the major sources of funds. I know pharmaceutical companies don't want to get in on it since people in developing countries have no monies.

Just like you put too much stock in death to the infidels, instead of practicing the love emphasized in your koran.
