Ok so the beamer is done... time for my honda... it's getting new speaker adapters (move out about and inch and make stock plastic thingy take 6.5" speakers), new amp rack, new sub box and another set of speaker cables (was running coax, now running seperates)... here are some pics of what I have so far

I prob will... I still need to take the top off to install the amp and wiring stuff on the bottom... I'll have the soundstream on the bottom and the diamond on top

that's a brace, not the back of the box.... or... I could play dumb and call it a ported box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif hehe... I followed the adire specs for simplicity... there is that brace and one running perp behind it (hence the screws down the middle)

I was thinking about it... adire says 4 4" holes... I have 8 2" holes... but there is room for a couple more so I will prob do it... I can't imagine why I need bracing in a 1 cubic foot box but hey... it was what they said... not me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.. and I didn't feel like designing one myself...

you need more holes then

4 4" holes is about 50 sq inches

8 2" holes is about 25 sq inches

I don't get how that works? 4x4 = 16, 8x2 = 16.... ? of course x .75 for the MDF.... though I've been known to miss things?!?

are of circle = pi x radius^2

3.14 x 2^2 = 12.566

3.14 x 1^2 = 3.1416

4 x 12.566 = about 50

8 x 3.1416 = about 25
