dude... upgrade your front stage... you have a crazy substage and like jensen speakers/amps for your front?

And, BTW, i have Pioneer 6.5's in my doors being powered by the jensen, for now.

And my rear 6X9's are jensen. They will work for now too. I dont want to spend too much on my system in this car cuz I want to save for a new vehicle.

Okay, I want to say something, and see if you think it makes sence. This is concerning my low dB #.
I get really bad voltage drops with a 160 amp alt. My HU preouts to my amp is .260v. I have to have the gain all the way up to accomadate for this. My amp (talking about hifonics) is working really hard to produce power with so little input, putting more of a strain on my electrical system, drawing more power. When voltage drops happen, I get less power to my subs, meaning not as loud. All because my pre-out voltage is too low?

Does that sound right?

i bought a 2500D for a 10 spot more.....could have gotten a nine.1 or 1200d for ALOT less and would perform just as well.
