not what i expected

heres the next challenge...

friend has a pair of 10" kicker comps in the back of a f-150 extended cab facing up, subs powered by boss "900 watts"

the problem is that the bass seems to echo sorta, the bass isnt that roud bass kinda bass... its hard for me to put in to words. I just thought it would bump more.

any help appreciated thanks!

it is out of phase with the rest of your system, try swiching the phase of the amp, or different rca, or maybe that amp is *******, I

reverse the pos and neg for the sub...put the pos on the neg and the neg to the pos...

Might want to turn the sub around first before doing that. =|

haha nope, i guess no one does. but i saw a guy cruisin by me with 2 12's in the back of his chevy 1500 extended cab with them facing up........i wasn't sure what kind they were but they sounded pretty decent from where i was standing (about 20 feet away) . I have no idea what it sounded like inside, but if youre getting echoing and all.......try sound proofing the cab......j/k. just turn them toward the seat.......its worth a try......

yea i knew boss amps arent too reputable ... yea they ****, but thats not what im runnin.

a friend of mine is runnin those, i was jus tryin to help him out on his install.

he still believes that his amp pushes aclean 900 watts, he jus wont listen:banghead:
