Question ? I have alpine mrvf345 4ch 75x4 powering a pair of spx107r comp in front. got a pair of cdt audio rated at 150wrms 300peak will the alpine power the cdt's also or do i need more watts? is under powering bad!! thanks for any help

Bridge it, if you aren't already. The only way that underpowering can harm speakers is if you turn it up so much that the amp clips. This clipping hurts both the amp and the speakers. If you have an amp more powerful than your speakers, you will hear distortion in the speakers before the amp clips, saving at least your amp. So just be careful. But if you bridge 75x4 you should get close to 150x2, a good match.

Bridging would be my first choice too, but if he's committed on using rear fill...

thanks for info 95rodeo alpine hu , alpinespx-107r comp for fronts,alpine sps170 [soon to be replaced ]with cdt audio m6,mids , 2x mbquarts12'' rwe304 for subs with alpine mrv345 powering fronts and mids mb quart pab 1200 for subs needed little more mid wasn't sure alpine could handle the new mids?
